Mr. Owolabi Jamiu Falana was appointed in August, 2022 by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to serve as Board Member in charge of Basic Education Quality Assurance, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economic Cybernetics from the Kharkiv National University of Radio-electronics Ukraine and a Masters Degree in Public Management from Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria.

He is also an Alumnus of the FATE Foundation Entrepreneurs Program.

He has been a Public Policy Strategist since 2016 and has led different youth groups in the last 10 years. He has also participated in several policy dialogues across Nigeria and Europe.

Prior to joining LASUBEB, he founded Ohjay Group Construction and Project Management Company and also held vital roles in various organizations as the Administrative Manager at Kenako Ukraine, European Regional Representative for STUNTS Group LLC, Business Development Manager at Pentagon Real Estates and Marketing Manager at Wealthteam Properties Ltd.
